Over at ComicsDC Mike Rhode shows some Stalin cartoons that he found at a rummage sale. The tone of the cartoonis is blatantly biased and past its prime, but I do like the vintage brush work.

Dutch illustration wizard (and Gutsman creator) Erik Kriek presents two illustrations he made for the Dutch railways’ information magazine, Rails, over at Clogwork. I like them because they’re vintage Kriek (even though he’s evolving in his use of color) and because they are Beatles-related (even though the Beatles’ portraits need some work, I’m afraid).
