Belgian bank KBC just launched its new campaign to attract young people : Become A Rock Star, providing them with all the information on the summer festivals they need, and with a chance to win a sh*tload of prizes.
The campaign’s eyecatchers are the charactes by Belgian graphic wizards Eugène and Louise, who’ve managed to get them cute and cool at the same time. And the animations are fun to boot !
Over at L’Agence eureka Pita or Franck (it’s never quite clear) have posted some very cool covers of the early French comics /humour magazine “L’Epattant” (from 1910). I saw some of the material from this magazine earlier (which is best known as the book in which Louis Forton’s Pieds Nickelés made their debut) earlier this year, when I visited the Angoulème Comics Festival. I remember I was amazed at how little it had aged, how fresh it looked, even on that old, crumbling newsprint.
