Compulsory Reading
Three cheers for Entertainment Weekly ! They gave Alison Bechdel permission to publish her strip, Compulsory Reading (which was originally published in EW’s 1000th issue) on her blog. And so she did. It’s a good little story about a reader’s ambivalent attitudes towards reading.
And let’s not forget : EW put Bechdel’s Fun Home on their list of “new classic” books from the past 25 years. Congratulations !
