Another JvdV mural

I was in Turnhout this weekend because Strip Turnhout was presenting Randall.C with his Prize for the best Debut Graphic Novel (a.k.a. the Tin Biebel - link in Dutch) for Slaapkoppen (of which we are currently preparing the English edition).
Sadly, however, my pictures of the glorious event were totally ruined by a lack of flash light. Luckily, I took a picture of the Jan van der Veken murial that can be admired in Turnhout (vander Veken was Turnhout’s Cartoonist Laureate last year). I quite like the fact that, besides a very beautiful piece of art, it’s also very funny. I think I like it even more than the one I spotted in Antwerp, earlier this year.
