It’s a reader !

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

When visiting this blog, even on a daily basis, you are probably too overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of some of the art is presented, to even notice the little tidbits in the margin on the right.  I would like to draw your attention, however, to one of them : my Google Reader feed.

Every day I read much too many blogs than is good for me, and I add the best, most interesting, most important or plainly most amazing posts to my Reader feed.  You can follow it, as said before, in the column on the right, or by heading straight to my Reader page.  It’s not just comics – you’ll also find music, design, architecture, technology — in short, everything that makes up my world.

Let me know what you think.  And if you have a similar feed, drop me a line !

Joost Veerkamp at Lambiek

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

If you happen to be in Amsterdam, why not visit the famous Gallerie Lambiek for a very nice exhibition of Dutch cartoonist and illustrator Joost Veerkamp.  The show consists of posters and silkscreens, which show his fascination with architecture and his love for the work of Hergé.

The exhibition runs until Saturday, January 10, 2009.  Upon request, supplementary material which is not part of the exhibition per se, will be shown as well.
