I’m starting to kinda like the viral campaign that the Watchmen people are setting up with the New Frontiersman website. It totally fits in the paranoid subtext of the watchmen story, and the faux archive pieces are much geekier than the guerilla stints that were set up on the occasion of Dark Knight.

This fabulous rocket house by Scott Campbell will be on display at his LA solo show in March.
I think this is a fabulous piece. It reminded me of the elaborate houses-on-wheels or boat houses I used to draw as a kid, with cave-like rooms for all my books and comics and toys and stuff.. I was totally enamored with the idea of being able to take your life along with you, all the while traveling around the world. I’ve lost that feeling now, and I think it’s great that Scott somewow managed to retain it.
