The Ephemerist

Andrew ‘This means” Waugh is a cartoonist from Newcastle who regularly takes part in the local Paper Jam Comics get-togethers.  In his little comics, he nearly always starts from a certain constraint, be it in terms of time (his impressive 24-minute comics) or content (when starting from certain keywords).

The results are often very funny, sometimes hilarious, and not once did I think, “Oh, yes, I saw that one coming”.  The cartoon above is perfect in my opinion, in that its direct, primitive style reflects the way it elaborates on the idea in all its consequences.
