Mention beans, and what do you think of ? Exactly. Stirling Foods turned this rather less desirable connotation to their product into their main selling point, and used the ideal medium to promote it : the daily newspaper comic strip.
This job was executed quite nicely : in terms of style and subject matter the strips (there’s three different ones) are almost indistinguishable from average “have a laugh” strips, but the joke only hits home once you realise you’re actually reading an ad.
