Historical Heroes
By his own admission, Photographer and illustrator Agan Harahap loves history. He has produced a series of photo manipulations, inserting figures from popular culture into historical photos. I’m not sure about the ones with Darth Vader, but the World War II Spider-Man above is splendid, if not according to canon. As a matter of fact, I think it’s my being completely brainwashed with modern comics publishers’ attempts to create a unified chronology for their “universes” – I keep thinking that the Batman uniform is not right, or that this version of the Flash only came about later. It’s a shame, really, as the pictures are really good.
