More Good Illustrations in the New York Times

After yesterday’s cool find of a new Tomine illo in the New York Times, Ephemerist agent Mike found two more good illos that appeared in the Times recently.  The first one is by Kristian Hammerstad and appeared in the Sunday Book Review on July, 7, whereas the second one is by one of my favorites, Asaf Hanuka, from the Travel Section on July, 28. Do check out Asaf’s The Realist, one of the best webcomics around!

    Hammerstadt’s art immediately brings to mind that of Shaky Kane, co-creator of the dizzyingly self-referential Bulletproof Coffin – one of my favorite graphic novels. Check it out if you haven’t already!
