Andy Riley, him of The Bunny Suicides, Smack The Poney and Black Books, has been doing a weekly comic strip in the Observer Magazine called Roasted, about a coffeeshop worker called Karl and his very cynical view on life in general.
When I was in London a couple of weeks ago, a collection had just come out of the best strips in that series. To celebrate that fact, Riley did a special, recounting the back story of Karl and his forefathers. Pretty neat, and with a magistral twist at the end.
