Steven Worth of the ASIFA – Hollywood Animation Archive recently ran a wonderful series of vintage prints featuring Cliff Sterrett’s Polly And Her Pals from the 1936 run of the Sunday Oregonean.
That in itself is very cool, and deserves our collective gratitude, but the pages also contained some very interesting and even endearing comics-style advertisments, that I just couldn’t let go by…Â So, tip of the hat to Steven, and enjoy these gems.
