Hello all,
It’s been a while since I last posted anything here. I could blame laziness, or holidays, and that would all be very true. The main reason, though, is that I’ve been feeling quite burnt out lately.
I just received my first cease and desist letter, and it’s bugging me. It’s to do with a character that I have loved for as long as I can remember (I even learned to read with those books), that I’ve spent time, money and love on, and now I get this slap in the face.
I think I’ll go under for another two weeks. I’ll see what happens.
Hey, from what I hear companies hand those things out like candy, so I wouldn’t be bothered to much by it. In fact if you do some moderate searches on the internets you can find out how to make your own cease and desist letters to scare other people. Pretty messed up world we live on.
Keep up the cool blogging,
Tim

your first? soz mate but i’m like close to collecting those 😉 – deep breath and move on – no wanting to sound philo-sophical but “it’s no use crying over spilt milk…etc etc”
and no offense, but come see how these “cease-and-desist” packages are like where i live and make a living!
just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming swimming… (finding nemo)
cheers,
big fan across the globe
I’m sorry to hear the disappointing news. I hope everything works out okay.
I’m sorry to hear about your C&D letter. Nothing takes the fun out of blogging than a legal threat.
But don’t worry.
Get a big pile of your favourite comics, a few beers and then sit in the garden, enjoying the summer and recharging your blogging batteries.
Cheers
Chris
