Chris Tregenza of tintinmovie.org has just finished his labor of love, a huge map of the world, meticulously charting every journey Tintin made during his twenty three completed adventures. It’s a very detailed affair, which even tries to locate the several imaginary countries and cities, such as Borduria, Syldavia and Khemed. Congratulations, Chris ! Let’s just hope Moulinsart looks at it that way too…
Some background info on the map and how it came to be can be found here.
I am quite agree with your idea.Share it.
Many thanks for the link.
The Moulinsart / Copyright issue has factored in the design with two competing criteria.
1) What is legal under UK law
2) Given Moulinsart reputation, what is likely to get me sued even if it is legal.
To be safe, I have erred on the side of caution.
As an analysis of Herge’s work, I’m entitled by Fair Dealing (more commonly known as Fair Use) to include copyright material in reasonable quantities. However, not wanting to push my luck, I’ve avoided using them as much as possible.
wow. this map is phantastic.
