Statuesque is a short film, written and directed by Neil Gaiman for the Sky1 drama series 10 Minute Tales.   It’s a sweet little story about loneliness, failure to communicate, love, bliss and grace, and features a healthy dose of that typical Gaiman magic.  Bill Nighy and Amanda Palmer play the main characters, and, if anything, it proved my theory that whatever role he’s in, Bill Nighy will always first and foremost play Bill Nighy.
