Adams makes Ware more Ware

In 1987, Chris Ware published a collection of his Daily Texan strips as Floyd Farland, Citizen of the Future (Eclipse).  The cover of that book was done in a style that, to put it mildly, is not what you would expect of a Ware cover these days.  Luckily Jon Adams took it upon himself to out-ware Ware and create a new cover, that you’d more easily recognize as Ware, down to the format, color, typography and self-depriciation.  Except, of course, that it isn’t really.
