Pepo Pérez posted a few pages of a new graphic novel by Spanish creator Paco Roca on his blog, Es Muy De Comic. The book is called, El Invierno Del Dibujante (which I guess translates as the Winter of the Cartoonist) and from what I can gather it’s a true story of the trials and tribulations of a comic creator in the 1950’s. The art of the book is simply gorgeous, and I can’t wait for a French or English publisher to pick this up, so that I can at least read it…
The book will be published in 2010 by Spanish publisher, Astiberri.
