At yesterday’s Academy Awards ceremony, Australian cartoonist, writer and illustrator, Shaun Tan won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film.  He received the award together with Andrew Ruhemann for The Lost Thing, which was based on his picture book of the same name. Congratulations !
