Egging Tintin

Every year around Easter the Swiss city of Ouchy in association with the Francophone Association of Families with Children with Cancer creates a mosaic using colored eggs to draw attention to the problems these families have.  Last year the theme of the mosaic was Titeuf, arguably the most succesful Swiss comic character ever.  This year during the Easter Weekend (April 22-24) Navigation Square will be the scene of a mosaic featuring Tintin and Snowy.

According to the official Tintin Facebook page, a total number of 39.780 eggs will be necessary to recreate the image that originally graced the cover of Tintin Magazine on July 09, 1963.
