Comix paperbax

A designer going by the name of Fonografix created a series of book covers for comics, imagining what they would have looked like had they been published as popular paperbacks in the 1960’s and 1970’s.  Some of them suffer from the same “reduce to the max” illness that recent “modernist” redesigns of movie posters, record covers and the like showed.  But others really look like the real thing.
