Comics journalism 101

For the website of the Poynter Institute journalism school, comics journalist Dan Archer created a two-page primer on comics journalism, its origins, methods and best examples, and he obviously used the comics format to do so.  It’s truly the best introduction to the genre I have ever seen, and it includes links to major resources, such as Cartoon Movement, Revue 21 and Newsmanga.  Finally, Archer also shows how comics journalism and infographics can be combined to a new form of investigative reporting visualisation.
