These ad for Fevi Kwik glue, that I spotted on I Believe in Advertising and Ads of the Worldrespectively, remind me of the cartoons you’d spot in the margins of general interest weeklies in the sixties and seventies.  I don’t know whether this is illustrators Sushant Khomane and Lokesh Karekar’s own style, but if it isn’t, they really nailed that vintage style.  And the jokes are pretty good as well.  More after the click.
