On the occasion of the exhibition La Boîte A Gand, which will present the visitors of the he Angoulême Festival to new Flemish creative comic talent, a special magazine was produced by The Flemish Literary Fund (Vlaams Fonds voor de Letteren) in close collaboration with Stripgids, in order to promote Flemish comics in the international arena.
Bangarang contains profiles of Flemish creators, news and articles and new Flemish comics. Â And the covers were provided by Pieter De Poortere (already a well-respected name on the international comics scene and Brecht Vandenbroucke (broke through last year with strips and illustrations for a.o. Nobrow, and now author of his first graphic novel).
