In an attempt to get the readers of Master Comics to buy their other titles as well, Fawcett used to include a feature called Comix Cards in their filler pages. The idea was that you cut out the illustrations (yes, indeed), stuck them on a piece of cardboard and you had yourself wat later would be known as a non-sports card.
This kind of ephemera really gets to me. Â I love how Fawcett seemed to have an endless array of western comics, and only one super-hero.
