Even though they are the “finest and oldest Comics Speciality Store in Western Canada”, the good people at the Vancouver Comics Store figured that being even more first in mind never hurts.  And what better way to do this than by introducing some typical comic book elements in real life.
Together with Spring Advertising, they came up with some clever sound effects to add to cars, shop windows, letter boxes and the like. A simple idea, smartly done and excellently executed. It reminded me of a similar campaign that local bank KBC ran in Belgium some three years ago.
