New Clear Line from Peter Willems

plaizier werchter

Flemish illustrator Peter Willems sent us two new illustrations he created recently.  Peter is a genius at combining clear line artwork with perspectives and layouts that come straight out of technical illustration.

The first picture shows the history of seminal printed art shop Plaizier in Brussels. It is used on the website that was especially created to enable customers to pay homage to the shop’s founders, who have decided to be less involved in the day-to-day in the future (for once, you don’t need to run to Plaizier for a card, but you can send a card from the website itself).

The second picture was used to illustrate Humo magazine’s picks of this year’s Rock Werchter Festival. As you can see, Jake Bugg and Nick Cave are clearly among the magazine’s favorites.

Both illustrations, and a ton of others, are available for licence from Lekstock.
