I’ll admit I’ve been quite monomaniacal on this blog lately, but it has just come to my attention that from next week onwards, you can get two new stamps from the Swiss Post Office, featuring the world’s favorite blue gnomes. Just in time to coincide with the Smurfs 2 movie, the stamps feature Papa Smurf and Smurfette kissing a generic Smurf.
They are quite unassuming, a bit like the Yakari stamps the Swiss issued last year. Â But still quite nicely done.
And I promise I’ll limit the stamp rambling to the regular First Class Stamps column. Honestly.
