I’m not really up to speed with my literature, so I only came across this beautiful cover for Jonathan Coe’s most recent novel, Number 11, very recently. It immediately stands out as yet more fine work by Jon McNaught, from the subtle colours to the lettering to the tiny characters. The paperback edition on the other hand looks more like a cut and paste job (and, quite subtly, does not mention McNaught as creator for the cover).
