By all means, cross the streams

Long before Glénat started publishing Donald Duck and Micky Mouse books by famous European comics creators, and long before the merger of the Marvelverse with the Disneysphere made any crossover possible, Italian fumettista Corrado Mastantuono crossed the streams in his Donald Duck stories by bringing up “Denden” and “Capitano Hadciuck” with his mighty vessel Hergé.

For our Italian friends, it’s old news (the Disney D’autore collection that features this story was published in 2013), but for the rest of the world, it may be an eyeopener in view of recent happenings. Now if only someone could do a scanlation…
